On January 7 in the small conference hall of Ajiniyaz Nukus state pedagogical institute  there was held a meeting devoted to the discussion of  Address by President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.Mirziyoyev on December 28 of 2018 to the Senate and Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and tasks standing before the higher educational system.

The meeting was opened and conducted by the rector of the institute B.Otemuratov.

The rector of the institute spoke that in Address  it is stated about the work performed in last year and plans of the coming year, the basic principles of internal and foreign policy of our country pointed  in it, and all this drew the  people’s attention. Academician J.Bazarbaev made a report at the meeting about the content of Address and issues of  the Aral seaside region.

In the report it was stated that because of the ecological crisis of the Aral sea in the area of more than 5,5 million hectares there was appeared the Aralkum dissert. Every year about 100 million tons of sand and salt rise to the air. With the purpose of liquidating the ecological crisis of the Aral sea the United Nations founded multilateral Trust fond of Human security, and such countries as Japan, Norway, Qatar and Saudi Arabia appropriated funds. Under the leadership of President much attention is paid to planting  forests in the dried  bottom of the Aral sea, in 2019 it is planned to plant forests in the area of 500 thousand hectares.

At the meeting a representative of Prosecutors office of the Republic of Karakalpakstan R.Kurbanov delivered a speech. He gave detailed information about the opinions and recommendations on the issues of struggle against corruption and further tasks indicated in the Address. In particular, it was stated that the struggle against corruption and extortion in the fields of medicine and education is the guarantee of development, and it is one of the actual  problems today.

At the meeting a vice rector on the issues of work with the youth of the institute K.Kadirov, a vice-rector on the issues of study M.Jumamuratov and a vice-rector on scientific research  work and innovations M.Jalelov made a speech and spoke about the tasks pointed  in the Address. The meeting went by questions-answers and sharing ideas and opinions.
