 Graduates of Nukus state pedagogical institute who were awarded «Hero of Uzbekistan»

  Allaniyaz Otenyazov

Allaniyaz Otenyazov was born on June 1 in 1936 in the family of a farmer in the department “Friendship” of Khalkabad farm in  Kegeili region in Karakalpakstan. In 1956 he studied at Karakalpak state pedagogical institute (now Nukus state pedagogical institute named after Ajiniyaz) at the faculty of foreign languages in specialty “English” and graduated from it in 1962. He took an active part in cotton company while being a student and collected more than 15-16 tons of cotton. In 1962-2002 he worked as a teacher at school №4 in Nukus region. Together with his wife Allaniyaz Otenyazov brought up a son and two daughters. During summer holidays he devoted much time to charitable work, and since 1954 he had been building houses  to needy families, invalids and orphans.   He built about 40 dwelling houses, 2 schools, 2 kindergartens for 30 places, 2 buildings for medical service and 1 library, he presented them to people. In 2000 he grew a garden in the square of 15 hectares. The labour of Allaniyaz Otenyazov, his charitable work for improving people’s welfare were highly appreciated by the government, he was awarded  the honorary title «Selection breeder of Uzbekistan» and an order «Mekhnat shuhrati». There were produced 3 films about his life and charitable work. His labour was valued as extraordinary and unusual in the world and it was included into the Book of Ginnes records. The labour of Allaniyaz Otenyazov was highly appreciated by the government and in 2001 he was awarded the honorary title «Hero of Uzbekistan».

 

 

  Tolepbergen Kayipbergenov

Tolepbergen Kayipbergenov was born on May 7 in 1929 in the village “Shortanbay” in Kegeili region. In 1947 he finished a pedagogical college, in 1955 he graduated from Karakalpak state pedagogical institute (now Nukus state pedagogical institute named after Ajiniyaz), the faculty of the Russian language and literature. Then he worked first as a literary worker, later as a chief editor of  the journal «Amudarya», as an assistant of the head of Karakalpakstan radio committee, a chief editor of republican newspapers, an assistant of the head of the committee of publishing houses of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. In 1980-2015 he worked as the head of the Union of Writers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The first book written by Tolepbergen Kayipbergenov was published in 1958. He is the author of about 93 books, they were published not only in Karakalpak but in other languages as well: Uzbek, Russian, Estonian. The works of Tolepbergen Kayipbergenov and his contribution into the development of Karakalpak literature were highly appreciated by the government. He was awarded the honorary titles “People’s writer of Uzbekistan”, “People’s writer of Karakalpakstan”.  He also became  a laureate of Berdakh state prize of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Kashgariy state prize of the Republic of Uzbekistan and M.Sholokhov international prize of the former Union. In 2003 Tolepbergen Kayipbergenov was awarded the honorary title «Hero of Uzbekistan».

 

Ibrayim Yusupov

Ibrayim Yusupov was born on May 5 in 1929 in the village “Azat” in Chimbay region. His father was repressed as a religious man and died being in exile. His mother Khanbyibi brought up two sons and four daughters herself. Ibrayim Yusupov started to work at the age of 13. In 1945-1949 he studied at Karakalpak state pedagogical institute (now Nukus state pedagogical institute named after Ajiniyaz), in 1949-1962 he worked as a teacher in Karakalpak literature at the pedagogical institute, in 1961-1962- as an editor of the journal «Amudarya», in 1962-1965 – as a scientific secretary  of the journal «Amudarya», in 1965-1980- as the head of the Union of Writers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, in 1980-1988- as a chief editor of the newspaper «Erkin Karakalpakstan», in 1988-1994-as the head of the Peace Committee, in 1994-2000-as the head of the social Centre of enlightenment, culture and spirituality of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. His poems were translated into many languages: Russian, Uzbek, Kazakh, Georgian, Bulgarian and English. His work and contribution into the development of Karakalpak literature were highly appreciated by the government. He was awarded the honorary titles “People’s poet of Uzbekistan”, “People’s poet of Karakalpakstan”.  He also became  a laureate of Berdakh state prize of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, a laureate of Kh. Alimdjan state prize of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In 2004 Ibrayim Yusupov was awarded the honorary title «Hero of Uzbekistan».

 

 

Vera Borisovna Pak

Vera Pak was born on November 13 in 1938 in Kungrad region of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. In 1961 after graduating from Karakalpak state pedagogical institute (now Nukus state pedagogical institute named after Ajiniyaz) she worked as a teacher at school №3 in Khiva, then as an inspector of the regional public educational department. In 2001 she was awarded the honorary title «Hero of Uzbekistan». Since 1985 till the end of her life Vera Pak worked as a director of the children’s community in Khiva.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Gayratdin Khojaniyazov

Gayratdin Khojaniyazov was born on December 12 in 1948 in Karaozek region in Karakalpakstan. In 1972 he graduated from Karakalpak state pedagogical institute (now Nukus state pedagogical institute named after Ajiniyaz) and started to work at the department of archeology at the institute of History, Language and Literature named after N.Daukaraev of Karakalpakstan branch of the Academy of sciences of Uzbekistan. He improved his qualification at Moscow state university named after M.Lomonosov, in 1974-1977 at the institute of Archeology of the Academy of sciences of former Union. In 1981-1984 he was at postgraduate studies and in  1996 he defended successfully a Candidate dissertation. He has been working as the head of the department of archeology at the institute of History, Language and Literature named after N.Daukaraev of Karakalpakstan branch of the Academy of sciences of Uzbekistan. Gayratdin Khojaniyazov is the author of about 130 scientific, more than  100 scientific-social works. They are: scientific articles «History of fortification development of antique Khorezm», «Hieratic-mortuary monuments of Karakalpaks of the XVII-XIX-th centuries on the materials of the burial ground “Krantau”, the monographs «Daukesken-Vazir (sources, topography and chronology)», «The military architecture of ancient Khorasmia (6 thcentury BC -4 th century AD)», « Defensive  fortresses  of ancient Khorazm». In 2001 he was awarded a commemorative «The 10-th anniversary of Independence of Uzbekistan», in 2003 an order «Mekhnat shuhrati». The works of Gayratdin Khojaniyazov were worthily appreciated, in 2008 he was awarded  the honorary title «Hero of Uzbekistan».

  Marat Nurmukhammedov  

An Academician of the Academy of sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of philological sciences, professor Marat Nurmukhammedov graduated from Karakalpak state pedagogical institute (now Nukus state pedagogical institute named after Ajiniyaz) in 1950. In 1953 he defended Candidate dissertation, in 1965 – Doctor dissertation. His works and contribution into the development of science were highly appreciated and he was awarded the titles “Honorary worker of science of Uzbekistan”, “Honorary worker of science of Karakalpakstan”. M.Nurmukhammedov became a laureate of Beruniy state prize of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a laureate of Berdakh  state prize of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. He is the first Academician of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.  

 

 

 

Sabir Kamalov

An Academician of the Academy of sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of historical sciences, professor Sabir Kamalov graduated from Karakalpak state pedagogical institute (now Nukus state pedagogical institute named after Ajiniyaz) in 1948. In 1953 he defended Candidate dissertation, in 1969-Doctor dissertation. For his works and contribution into the development of science he was awarded the titles “Honorary worker of science of Uzbekistan”, “Honorary worker of science of Karakalpakstan”, he was a full member of New-York Academy. Sabir Kamalov became a laureate of Berdakh  state prize of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

 

 

 

 

Amin Bakhiev

An Academician of the Academy of sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of biological sciences, professor Amin Bakhiev graduated from Karakalpak state pedagogical institute (now Nukus state pedagogical institute named after Ajiniyaz) in 1961. In 1967 he defended Candidate dissertation, in 1983- Doctor dissertation. His works and contribution into the development of science were highly appreciated, he was awarded the title “Honorary worker of science of Karakalpakstan”and became a laureate of Berdakh  state prize of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. He works as a director of the institute of Bioecology of the Karakalpak department of the Academy of sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

 

 

 

 

Jumanazar Bazarbaev

An Academician of the Academy of sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of philosophical sciences, professor Jumanazar Bazarbaev graduated from Karakalpak state pedagogical institute (now Nukus state pedagogical institute named after Ajiniyaz) in 1955. In 1964 he defended Candidate dissertation, in 1973- Doctor dissertation. For his works and contribution into the development of science he was awarded the titles “Honorary worker of science of Uzbekistan”, “Honorary worker of science of Karakalpakstan”, “Honorary worker of higher and secondary education of Uzbekistan”. J.Bazarbaev became a laureate of Berdakh  state prize of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

 

 

 

Khusniddin Khamidov

An Academician of the Academy of sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of philological sciences Khusniddin Khamidov graduated from Karakalpak state pedagogical institute (now Nukus state pedagogical institute named after Ajiniyaz). In 1967 he defended Candidate dissertation, in 1990 – Doctor dissertation. For his works and contribution into the development of science he was awarded the title “Honorary worker of science of the Republic of Karakalpakstan”.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Abatbay Dauletov

An Academician of the Academy of sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of philological sciences Abatbay Dauletov graduated from Karakalpak state pedagogical institute (now Nukus state pedagogical institute named after Ajiniyaz) in 1964. In 1972 he defended Candidate dissertation, in 1994 – Doctor dissertation. For his works and contribution into the development of science he was awarded the title “Honorary worker of science of the Republic of Karakalpakstan”.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The famous sportsmen of the institute

Alisher Auezbaev

After proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 1994 our country took part in the XII-th Asia games that were held in the city of Hiroshima   in Japan and our team took the first place being awarded the first gold medal won by a graduate of the faculty of Physical culture of Ajiniyaz Nukus state pedagogical institute Alisher Auezbaev. On October 7 in 1994 Alisher Auezbaev knocked out a competitor Radj Kapur Tapalia from Nepal in a quarterfinal in weight category till 91 kilogrammes. In a semi-final he won Hiang Taon from China according to bull points, came through fro the final. In the final Alisher Auezbaev knocked out a competitor Yusuf Havsavi from Saudi Arabia and became the winner of a gold medal. Uzbekistan as an independent country was awarded a gold medal in the international competitions for the first time thanks to a graduate of our institute  Alisher Auezbaev.  

 

 

 

Rustem Janabaev

Rustem Janabaev was born in Takhiatas region of the Republic of Karakalpakstan in 1993. He graduated from the faculty of Physical culture of Ajiniyaz Nukus state pedagogical institute in 2017. He is one of the famous sportsman in the world of the weight category more than  105 kilogrammes in weight lifting. Rustem Janabaev was a winner of the championship of Uzbekistan several times, a winner of sport games «Universiad», he took part in summer Olimpia games held in the city Rio de Janeiro in Basil in 2016. In 2017 he was awarded a gold medal in the first Asian games held in closed sport complex in the capital of Turkmenistan- Ashkhabad and became a champion of Asia, in 2018 he was awarded a gold medal in the world championship.
