The first Uzbek-Malaysian Educational Forum, held in February, was conducted under the theme “Opportunities and Initiatives in Higher Education for Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals”. The forum brought together the Ministers of Higher Education from both countries and served as a platform for discussing the expansion of inter-university cooperation, the development of academic mobility programs, and the implementation of joint educational initiatives.

During the forum, the NSPI delegation signed agreements and memoranda of mutual cooperation with universities in Malaysia.

At the invitation of Lincoln University College (LUC), a group of students specializing in Preschool Education – G.Kashkinbaeva, Sh.Abdikamalova, A.Ismailova and M.Karzhaubayeva – accompanied by Mr. A.Bimbetov, a methodological specialist from the International Relations Department, participated in an academic visit to Lincoln University College in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Between June 4 and 7, 2025, a series of meetings took place with the leadership and academic staff of Lincoln University College (LUC). The discussions centered on enhancing institutional partnerships, expanding academic mobility programs, developing joint degree initiatives, fostering collaborative research and educational projects, and exploring opportunities for investment and resource sharing.

Currently, G.Kashkinbaeva, Sh.Abdikamalova, A.Ismailova and M.Karzhaubayeva are engaged in academic studies at Lincoln University College (LUC) within the framework of an academic mobility program.

This initiative is significant not only for broadening students’ knowledge and skills in the field of education but also for fostering intercultural awareness, enhancing foreign language proficiency, and expanding opportunities for participation in future international projects.
