On  December 3 of this year the ceremonial meeting “December 8 – the Constitution Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan” devoted to the holiday was held in the conference hall of  Nukus state pedagogical institute named after Ajiniyaz.

The meeting was opened and conducted by the vice rector on the issues of the youth of the institute K.Kadirov.

At the meeting there were the head  of the Committee of Jokargi Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan S.Turmanov, the minister of Justice  of the Republic of Karakalpakstan S.Khudaibergenov and the head of Economical court of the Republic of Karakalpakstan  B.Temirkhanova. They congratulated the participants of the meeting with the 26-th anniversary of  the adoption of the basic Law- the Constitution.

At the meeting there were made the reports by the famous scientists: Academician J.Bazarbaev – on the theme «Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan is the basis of our national spirituality», a docent of the department of national idea, bases of spirituality and legal education of the faculty of History and Geography T.Kudaibergenova- on the theme «The content and importance of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan»,  Candidate of Historical sciences, professor M.Tileumuratov- on the theme «Historical significance of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan».

The speakers mentioned in their reports that the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan was considered to be the basic Law, it had been worked out on the basis of the  principle of a person, society and state. It differs from the Constitutions of other countries of the world by putting the rights and interests of a person in the first place. Now all the normative-legal documents are worked out on the basis of the basic Law.

At the meeting there was sharing opinions, discussion and questions-answers.
