This year sport  games will be held in three stages, the final stage of the competitions «Universiad» will take place in Surkhandarya region. There are  local stage of competitions in many kinds of sport for determining the winners  for the final stage. The stage of the competition “Universiad-2019” in national wrestling  was held successfully in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The boys of 7-weight category and girls of 8-weight category took part at the competitions.

— The students of the institute prepared to the competitions well. First we organized the competitions between groups, then between the faculties of the institute with the purpose of better selection of the most capable students. Today we see the results of our work, – says a trainer in national wrestling of Nukus state pedagogical institute Nursuliu Berdakova. In the results of the competitions  the following students became the winners and took the first place: among girls Kuralay Asetullaeva (48 kg), Gulayim Shirazatdinova ( 52 kg.) Sayathan Torebaeva (57 kg.), Gulayim Jumabaeva (63kg.) ,Suliukhan Pirimbetova (78kg.), Fatima Tursimuratova (87kg.), Nursuliu Jumamuratova (+87 kg.), among  boys  Ergash Aytbaev (90kg.), Islam Mambetob (100kg.). They are going to take part in the final stage of the competitions that will be held in Surkhandarya region.
