• General management of the activities and personnel of the Center;
• Timely notification of threats to information security in a higher education institution and provision of consulting services on information security issues;
• Organization and control of the activities of the national network “Electronic Education”;
• Control over the correct operation of computer programs at the Institute;
• Organization of regular technical inspections and repairs of computer equipment;
• Control over the activities of computer operators;
• Replenishment of the Institute’s computer fleet with modern devices and improvement of the existing equipment;
• Ensuring high-quality operation of the Internet and e-mail at the Institute, control of information exchange;
• Coordination of technical control and repair of the Institute’s copying equipment;
• Organization of the Institute’s e-learning system and organization of interaction with domestic and foreign universities on this issue;
• Input and analysis of data in the local network portal of the Institute;
• Ensuring the security of the resources of information systems and databases of the University;
• Identification and analysis of illegal actions in the information space;
• Ensuring the safety of confidential information in the Ministry’s information systems;
• Development of international cooperation to ensure information security in the national segment of the Internet;
• Development of annual and semi-annual work plans for the Center;
• Approval of work plans for the Center’s employees;
• Conducting quarterly internal meetings of the Center and issuing warnings to employees who violate labor discipline.
