Master study

Reforms in the social and economic spheres by presidential decree along with other reforms also underwent significant improvements in the field of education. As the results of these changes in the education system and on the basis of the order No. 2 of the selection committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2002 on June 14 were accepted only 6 master students in the following specialties: Mathematics -3, Primary education – 2, Karakalpak language – 1. In 2002-2003 – academic years the department of magistracy is headed by the candidate of the department of physics – mathematics, assistant professor B.Ibragimov. Experienced professors – teachers carried out research and scientific and pedagogical works with master students and headed their master’s theses. All master students successfully completed their studies and received an academic master’s degree. If before 2005 – the year in the department of magistracy were taken in three directions, then in the 2005-2006 academic years 66 master students in 13 areas were accepted (ie, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, History, Geography, Computer Science, Primary Education, Pedagogy, Psychology, Karakalpak language, Karakalpak literature, Uzbek language, Uzbek literature) and were assigned in their specialties to the department. In the years 2006 – 2007, the magistracy department was established as a separate department. From the moment of formation the department was headed by the candidate of pedagogical sciences, assistant professor U. Seitzhanov. In the 2006–2007 academic year, 88 graduate students were admitted to the magistracy in the following areas: Mathematics, Physics, Biology, History, Geography, Computer Science, Primary Education, Pedagogy, Psychology, Karakalpak Language, Karakalpak Literature, Uzbek Language, Russian Language. The department of magistracy was carried out a lot of work in the field of master training and in the development of demanded cadres. The use of the necessary literature from the free Internet network, e-bookshop, information resource center gives a great opportunity to master students in their research work. Graduates of the master’s program work in schools, in academic lyceums, in colleges, in the republican institute for the improvement of knowledge of teachers, at the university and at the institute, as well as in scientific research. In the 2006-2007, master student of the 2nd  course of pedagogy, Amangul Turdimuratova, became the winner of the Presidential Scholarship. This demonstrated the priority of master students of the institute in the field of science. As well as other master students have achieved great success in the field of sports. In 2007, master students of the 2nd course,  Yuldashev Maksud (Primary Education) and Yesbolganova Gulziyra (History) won the volleyball championship of Uzbekistan Universiade in Tashkent and became the pride of our republic. Scientific-pedagogical practice and scientific research are developed by the departments of specialization and contracts are concluded with lyceums, research institutes of vocational colleges and  higher educational institutions. Since 2016, the department of magistracy is headed by the candidate of pedagogical sciences, assistant professor Muhabbat Allambergenova. 89 master students were taken in the following areas:

  • 5A 110901-Theory and history of pedagogy (general pedagogy),
  • 5A 110902-Pedagogy and psychology,
  • 5A 110903-Management of educational institutions,
  • 5A 111201- Uzbek language and literature,
  • 5А 111301-Karakalpak language and literature,
  • 5А 111301 – Russian language and literature,
  • 5А 111601- Methods of teaching social sciences (fundamentals of spirituality),
  • 5A 111701- Theory and methods of teaching and education (primary education),
  • 5A 111801 – Theory and methods of teaching and education (preschool e education)

In the department of magistracy a number of training activities are carried out. There is also a lot of work to be done for meaningful leisure time of the students. Masters have access to libraries, Internet networks, information resource centers, the use of the necessary literature, as well as to obtain a large amount of science in science.
