In 1990, after the reorganization of the Nukus State Pedagogical Institute named after Azhiniyaz, the Pedagogical Faculty was established. And he was headed by Professor J. Narymbetov. From 1992 to 1994 The faculty was headed by Professor O. Aleuov. From 1994 to 1998 The faculty was headed by Professor O. Dospanov. From 1998 to 2000 The faculty was headed by associate professor T. Khalmuratov. From 2000 to 2005 The faculty was headed by associate professor Sh. Saparov. Since September 2005, the faculties of “Methods of Primary Education” and “Pre-school Education” have been merged and bore the name “Pedagogy”. And the dean of the faculty was P.Nadzhimov. From October 2008, the faculty was renamed as the “Faculty of Preschool Education” and the dean of the faculty was the candidate of pedagogical sciences С.Seitmuratov. Since April 2010, by the resolution of the Academic Council of the Institute and by the order of the Rector, the name of the faculty was renamed as “Pedagogy”, the dean of the faculty was K.Zhaқsumuratov. From 2013 to 2016 Associate Professor Z. Klycheva, and from 2016 to 2017. senior teachers M.Allayarov were dean of the faculty. Since January 2017, the faculty is headed by Associate Professor S. Saparov. The faculty consists of 4 departments: “Music Education”, “Visual Arts and Engineering Graphics”, “Pedagogy” and “Psychology”. The departments have 1 doctor of science, professor, 15 candidates of science, associate professors, 12 senior teachers and 8 assistant teachers. The faculty has 3 educational directions for bachelor. These are “Music Education”, “Visual Arts and Engineering Graphics”, and “Pedagogy and Psychology”. 642 students are enrolled in these areas, 175 of them on the basis of the state grant and 467 on the basis of the contract. Every year, students take an active part in national and international conferences, competitions, festivals and scientific competitions. Departments:
